MIDNIGHT CHRONICLES update!

The Great White North is living up to its name! It's Friday and we're buried in all this white stuff, but have no fear- the cast and crew of MIDNIGHT have not succumbed to the snow. While others might be taking a snow day we are hard at work finishing up the reshoots, planning some great visual effects, and preparing more great behind-the-scenes material.
Production Insider: It's great having FANTASY FLIGHT GAMES as a parent company- we get to play games at lunch. Ganging up on the production manager Keith while playing Drakkon is almost as much fun as making movies.

MIDNIGHT CHRONICLES shooting new footage!
(February 7th, 2007)
Last week MIDNIGHT CHRONICLES began shooting a handful of additional scenes that will be integrated into the current rough-cut of the film! The studio is alive again with the buzzing of table saws, the hammering of nails, the howls of angry orcs, and the oh-so-sweet sounds of "Action!" and "Cut!" echoing off the studio walls.
Every MIDNIGHT CHRONICLES piston is firing as we close in on the final days of re-shooting, bringing us closer and closer to the last stages of post-production. Stay tuned for more updates, more contests, and our next documentary installment that focuses on the MIDNIGHT CHRONICLES actors and actresses!

Behind-the-Scenes PART 3 online!

We're Back! New Downloads Available!

Happy December Midnight Chroniclers! Our regularly scheduled web updates were recently put on hold due to some technical difficulties during the Thanksgiving holidays, but we're back up and running and have some juicy morsels to share with you! First and foremost; a brief update on the status of our project:
Midnight Chronicles has passed through the "rough-cut" phase of post-production and has entered what we affectionately refer to as "Phase Two." We'll continue to edit the picture, write and record the soundtrack, continue to add special effects, work on sound design, and begin our final color grading during the winter months. The current cut clocks in at a perfect 90 minutes and looks absolutely gorgeous! (We love High Def!)
In the meantime, we're happy to present two new videos for your enjoyment. The second documentary in our ten-part series,"From Game to Film," is now available for download. In this installment you'll get a brief explanation of what the Midnight role playing game is, and how it evolved into Fantasy Flight Games' first motion picture project.
We also have a short promotional trailer available, which was screened at Gen Con SoCal this year. Grab a couple of exclusive glimpses behind the camera in this 60 second video!
More videos, photos, and announcements are right around the corner! Stay tuned!

New Downloads and Photos available!

Three MIDNIGHT CHRONICLES desktop images have been added to the Wallpapers section and we're pleased to announce the addition of our 3rd photo gallery! The new gallery showcases images from our location shoot in Pepin, Wisconsin and the building of our Blackweir City Gate set piece.

Post-Production on MIDNIGHT CHRONICLES is well underway! Splice Here, our editing partner, is nearing completion on the first rough cut of the film and we're looking forward to moving onto the next phase of edits, sound mixing, and visual effects!
For those of you attending Gen Con SoCal next weekend (Nov. 16th-19th) you can catch a special screening of the trailer and an exclusive sneak preview of a completed scene! www.gencon.com
